Lozärn is the only cellar to produce a Carménère Rosé in South Africa which is a very unique and rare cultivar in the country.
Moreover, Salome Buys-Vermeulen, the winemaker at Lozärn Wines has been crowned Woman Winemaker of the Year 2021 by the South African Women’s Wine & Spirit Awards.
Picked by hand, the best fruits are de-stemmed, crushed and pressed without any skin contact. As a result, a wine with dancing notes of spice and red berries on the nose. Enjoy with Prosciutto, brie and tapas.
