What is an ITL Ambassador?

An ITL Ambassador is someone who has personally experienced ITL, its way of serving, and its impact, and who identifies with its vision, mission and values.

As a trusted representative of ITL, they naturally share their own story, build bridges between ITL and people, churches, businesses and organisations, and connect others with opportunities to serve, partner and invest in God’s Kingdom. In doing so, they help create relationships that strengthen both ITL and those who journey alongside it.

Ambassadors may be alumni, volunteers, facilitators, staff, board members, donors, ministry partners, or friends of ITL who desire to see Christian leaders empowered to bring lasting transformation.

An ITL Ambassador:

  1. Lives the values of ITL.
  2. Shares the story of ITL as they experienced and know it.
  3. Connects people with opportunities to partner, to serve and to give according to their calling.
  4. Builds relationships that strengthen God’s Kingdom through ITL.

What Qualifies Someone to Become an ITL Ambassador?

An ambassador is recognised more for who they are than for what they do.

Credibility

An ITL Ambassador is someone who seeks to follow Christ and has personally experienced ITL, its way of serving, and/or its impact. This may be through participation in an ITL programme, serving alongside ITL, partnering with the organisation, or witnessing the transformation of others, such as alumni. Because of this firsthand experience, they can genuinely share their own story and testify to the work and impact of ITL.

Alignment

Having experienced ITL and its impact, an ambassador genuinely identifies with the organisation’s vision, mission and values. Their support grows out of personal conviction rather than obligation, and they seek to live these values consistently in their own life, work, church and community.

Commitment

They remain interested in the ongoing work of ITL and willingly look for opportunities to contribute to its growth and Kingdom impact.

A Heart to Serve

They have a desire to serve, empower others and build relationships that advance God’s Kingdom. Their authentic enthusiasm and lived experience are far more compelling than any prepared message.
