Johan Horn

Co-Founder & Director

As the Director and Co-Founder of ITL, Johan plays a key role in ensuring that the vision and mission of ITL-ALICT are realised. He leads strategic efforts to support ALICT alumni in thriving as transformed community leaders who make a meaningful impact. Johan also works to ensure that ALICT continues to equip emerging leaders through biblically grounded principles.

He is actively involved with the team, overseeing operations and ensuring that all projects run smoothly and remain aligned with the overarching mission of ITL-ALICT.

Annei Bruwer

Operations Manager

As Chief Operating Officer and Integrator, Annei brings order and structure to ITL. She builds and maintains the invisible scaffolding that supports and sustains the mission over time, ensuring that everything we do is integrated. Think systems, processes, data, and technology.

Annei holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University and has experience in project and programme management, as well as systems, process, and operational management.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys raising her children with intentionality, reading historical fiction, and trail running.

Abigail Baard

Marketing and
Communications

As Marketing Lead and Communications Manager, Abigail is responsible for coordinating both internal and external communications, overseeing marketing efforts, and sharing the work ITL does with others.

She holds an Honours degree in Journalism from Stellenbosch University.

Through her writing, communication, and storytelling skills, she aims to showcase the impactful work ITL is facilitating and to mobilise others to be part of the journey.

Outside of work, Abigail enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Lydia Wanderley

Curriculum Administrator & Learning Coordinator

As Curriculum Administrator and Learning Coordinator, Lydia oversees stakeholder communication, facilitator and lecturer coordination, and programme implementation.

She is a seasoned pedagogue and e-learning specialist with over 20 years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, and distance learning.
Lydia holds a degree in Pedagogy and a Master’s in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and reading.

Nadene Truter

Digital Platforms & Brand Experience Manager

Nadéne manages the organisation’s websites, keeping them up to date and running smoothly, and ensures everyone stays informed with the latest updates from ITL-ALICT. She is also responsible for all things related to graphic design and creating a seamless brand experience.

Nadéne has a background in website design, leadership training, and working with churches and non-profit organisations. She also ventured into floristry for a while. She holds an Honours degree in Communication Studies.

Outside of work, Nadéne enjoys hiking in the mountains, baking, and gardening.

Nicolaas Horn

Forming Coordinator & Implementor

As Forming Coordinator and Implementer, Nicolaas is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and continuously strengthening the forming and competency-based elements of the ALICT programme. He also oversees the ITL Coaching Programme, ensuring that our alumni are further supported through access to trained coaches.

Nicolaas is a qualified mediator through the Organisation, Social Justice, and has completed Teaching with Technology and Conceptual Design courses through UCT/Harvard online training. He also holds certificates in SMM Enterprise Management and the Psychology of Mentorship through UNISA.

Outside of work, Nicolaas enjoys sport (both recreational and as entertainment), reading, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor activities.

Tahina Andrianaivo

Admin, Assets and Finance & Project Manager

Tahina serves as the Administration, Finance, Assets, and Database Manager at ITL-ALICT, and also manages projects such as the ITL Small Grant, X-Team, and Class Facilitators, initiatives that support our alumni in community transformation. His work includes financial oversight, budgeting, bookkeeping, and systems coordination.

He has a background in finance and accounting, and previously worked as a school administrator and managed a food processing company, gaining valuable leadership and operational experience.

Outside of work, Tahina enjoys music, singing in a choir, listening to hymns, and spending time with his family at the beach.

Tsiory Andrianaivo

Logistics
& Project Manager

As a Project Coordinator Tsiory is responsible for coordinating logistics for ITL activities, including key arrangements for the ALICT program. She also oversees the ITL GetFund project — a crowdfunding initiative supporting ALICT alumni-led projects and she manages the Seeding Enterprise program — providing business coaching to ALICT alumni running social enterprises.

She holds a Master’s degree in Management Science with a specialisation in International Trade.

Outside of work she enjoys walking, listening to podcasts, and reading Christian living books.
